    Neither. I created both myself.

  3. What aniimating program did you use?

  4. mokthemagicman on July 1st, 2008 at 11:24 pm

    Maya

  5. Is the animation still available for purchase? I have the soundtrack, but would love t buy the animation to put with it.

  6. PLEASE READ?

Could you somehow post this flash animation with no sound? That should put your worries of infringement to rest?

Or at least a tutorial of how you did the animation. Like if you used tweening, did you use the video of the statues as a background template and maybe a file with the basic three pumkin face shapes?

I KNOW YOU GET FLOODED WITH THESE REQUESTS BUT PLEASE CONSIDER at least a tutorial.

  7. No I can’t. Sorry.

  8. I would love to be able to see this in person, even pay you for the pumpkin projection DVD. Are you possibly selling the pumpkin projection DVD? Maybe the skull as well? If not, completely understandable, it’s too amazing work to part with.

  9. where did you get this?

Are both the animated pumpkins and the peppers ghost skull working at the same time? If so how are you syncronizing both animations at once?

  11. mokthemagicman on October 1st, 2008 at 6:02 am

Two portable DVD players are playing the same timed out animation so it restarts together. Sometimes I have to re-sync it.

  12. Man i gotta tell you you are amazing….

  13. Dude, your amazing! ^^

  14. dude, that skull looks awesome XDDD

  15. i know its fake but it still scares me

Skull sounds off key, but a great effect!

  17. First of all, your work on this effect is awesome. I try to come up with at least one really different/new display every year to add to my already crazy large collection of Halloween decor and I’ve found my next project! My question is whether you purchased the full-blown Autodesk Maya ($5K ?) or if there is a “lesser” version (I read somewhere that there is a $300 version?). Or would 30 days even be enough time to learn and create something like this using the free trial? If you get a sec. Thx.

  18. I like the pumpkins better

  19. Try “Blender” it’s a free open source 3D software.

  20. The singing jacks are great, though maybe they would be more effective in a darker lighting scheme?

  21. i love the effect…hate the song

  22. Hey, thanks for the info. A few months back I asked a friend who animates for a video game company what he would recommend and he told me Blender too. Thanks again!

  23. You can do this effect with just plain after effects by adobe if you wanted. Flash would work too. I just chose Maya since I know it better.
