Are your pets frightened by Halloween activities?

Our cat is terrified of anyone in a Halloween costume. We have to be very careful to keep her in a back bedroom when there is any chance of someone in a mask being around. Does anybody else have this problem?

  1. Nope.

  2. They are not usually scared of masks, but they get upset because so many noisy kids are coming to the door. And they can sense there is a lot of traffic and yelling in the street. They usually hide in a closet until all is quiet again. If you get right in the cat’s face with a mask on, though, he will hiss!

  3. All indoors…………I am a writer……and I write alot of gothic & horror so basically my home & office(which is in my house) look to the "outside world" as being Halloween all year round–LOL
For me coffins, bats, witches, vampire parahernalia is just part of my everyday life. My "babies" are used to it.
One of my cats is BLACK, so I am so glad I rescued her 4 years ago….My kids never go outside. I personally don’t do alot for Halloween(except SHOP–great timer to buy items for my home) so my animals frankly just view it as a "normal" day
OK………….the one cat SPIKE..I do dress him up(hes my avatar) but he lets me….hes such a good boy!
